Josh First at Second Amendment rally

"I have participated in the past four Second Amendment rallies organized in Harrisburg by Kim Stolfer of Firearms Owners Against Crime, and each time it's a bigger event. Several thousand people participated today, and I spoke to about two dozen of them, hoping to meet voters from the PA-17th District.

As much as I was dismayed at not meeting one voter from the congressional district I am running in, I was equally happy to meet activists from across Pennsylvania, from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh. Their dedication says a lot. I met NRA executive vice president Wayne LaPierre, thanked him for his outstanding service to all freedom-loving Americans," said candidate Josh First, who is a long-time member of the National Rifle Association.

First noted afterwards that neither U.S. Representative Tim Holden nor Harrisburg's Patriot News newspaper attended.
